Crayon roll anyone?

Let me start by saying...I'm LOVING my new sewing machine!! I was feeling ultra domestic today and my man spoiled me and got me a new sewing machine. So lucky! I couldn't wait to whip up a neat little project and so I started with the CrAyOn RoLl!! I hadn't sewn in a really long time and I had forgot how therapeutic, and addicting, it is. So here they are, pics of my first project...This is one I made for Mason. I thought it would be neat to take to sacrament.

This is a girly one I made for no one in particular. I think now that I figured out how to make them I may try and get a little fancy with some ric rac or lace or something...I can't wait to get some funky fabrics and mix it up! Tomorrow I'm going to try making it into an apron! How fun would that be?!
I hope you like them! They were so fun and quite simple to make! How cute would they be as gifts? Or stocking stuffers! I can't wait to make some more and share them with you!! But it's two in the morning....I'm going to HATE life in the morning!! So g'night!***update!! Mas had a special request....and army man roll!! how awesome is that?! I'm totally going to make one!***

    Put me down for 3! I have a sewing machine, but I think it's plotting my downfall. Def. NOT therapuetic. Maybe I need to take a class. Those are super cute, and I bet you look DOPE in an apron! You Domestic Goddess, you!

    Completely, insanely cute. Can't believe you find the time! Glad it's therapy - every girl's gotta have some! Post a pic of your apron! There's a group of people in Utah who have apron kiosks in the malls making dough (pun intended) with their creations, so there must be a market for sexy aprons. You go, girl.

    You can totally make the blanket I posted today. All you have to do is sew straight lines, and it looks like you've got that down! Cute, cute!
