1. How was your Valentine's Day?
I suppose "mellow" would be a good word for it. I spent my time going back and forth between the kid's class parties and just hanging with my littles all day. Hubs had to work super late (I was asleep before he even got home!), so I just enjoyed the day soaking up some love and snuggles from the kids. We delivered Valentine's, made a yummy dinner, took a trip to Target so they could each pick out a little Valentine's Day goodie, and read books on the couch. All in all a pretty good day...the only thing that would have made it better was if Jordan could have been home.
2. What is your favorite flower? Did your honey get them for you?
I love Gerbera Daisies...they're just so HAPPY! I love everything about them. They're just so bright and lively! They always seem to make me smile. And nope, he didn't. He knows I'm not a huge fan of getting flowers...especially on Valentine's Day. A single daisy on a random day means way more to me than a giant bouquet today. HOWEVER....I do love giving flowers.
3. Was Valentine's Day a big deal for you when you were a kid?
Nah, its never really been a big deal for me.
4. Did you put up any Valentine's Day decorations? (bonus points for a pic!)
I kept it light on the decorations this year. I just put out some cute cupcake candles, some fun Valentine's placemats, and a little table decorations. Easy peasy!
5. Do you have any Valentine's Day traditions?
I've never had any of my own, but now that we have kids we have started a few. Every year I give my kids a card (even though only 1 out of the 3 of them can actually read it!) and we make a special dinner together.
