She may be little, but sweet goodness this girl is a little spit fire. She definitely inherited the Latina temper. I swear this girl is flippin 1 going on 16! She's got more attitude in one finger than both of her brother's combined and she throws down with the best of them. Next thing I know she's going to start spitting fire and stealing my midol. I'm scared folks. SCARED!

Is it weird to sleep next to a butcher knife? Because I may or may not have slept with two 80 pound boxers and a knife on Friday....but it was for a good reason! You see, the hubs decided to take Mas and Boogie on a boys only camping trip for the weekend. {WOOOO!!! Sweet sound of SANITY mama's having a GIRL'S NIGHT!} And that left just The Little Miss and myself at home. I'm not sure when it happened, but sometime in the last 26 years I turned into a major namby-pamby. After a full night of shopping, stuffing my piehole, movies, and more eating, I could NOT sleep! Every little shadow, creak, and dog fart CREEPED me the freak out. I was convinced there were home intruders staking out in my rosemary bushes. Hence the knife. I'll cut a fool! I had to have a plan just in case! So while I was busy snoozing with my shank, here's what the boys were doing....

While the boys were busy building fires, scratching themselves, and learning to be manly men the Little Miss and I had a hot date with some super cute landscapers...

Ladies and gents, meet the landscapers! Yup, those are goats and sheep. This is how we mow the lawns in our town. Pretty bad arse isn't it?? These little machines move from spot to spot in the town munching up all the hard to mow areas. GENIUS!

And because a certain Little Miss loves them so much, we went again...

All in all the weekend was a success. The boys filled their testosterone tanks and the girls got some new threads. Score. But Jordan's home now, so I don't have to spoon my cutlery anymore. HA! Get it!? Spoon my knife?! Anybody? Bueller? Right then.

IT'S OUR BLOGGY BIRTHDAY!

Bust out the confetti fools because today's the big day! HUZZA! The proverbial doors of It Ain't Easy Bring Cheesy have been opened for ONE YEAR now and my, oh my, how time flies!

So what better way to celebrate this special occasion than with a little family shindig...and that's exactly what we did last night. The chocolate milk was flowing, cake was being devoured, decorations were in full effect, and the party goers were crazier than Lindsey Lohan at Voyeur. Milka-whaaat!

Let me tell you folks, it was one crazy par-tay. These kids were throwing back shots of Carnation instant breakfast like it was nobody's business! Bed time came and went, but we got down with our bad selves none the less. Wanna see?

Who would have thought that one could post about poop, gas, crack-head kids, and The Hoff for a whole year!? Luckily for me there's much more where that came from! It's been awesome documenting my family's journey and picking up some amazing friends along the way. You guys seriously rock. Thanks for the good times! Here's to another year! I'm off to go give Jordan his birthday spanking....

The play was flippin awesome! The kids worked round the clock to put on an amazing performance and we are SO proud of Mason. Not one burp, fart, or potty word during the entire play! BOOYA! However, I was there was this wonky lady clapping all crazy and yelling out GO MASON through out the whole thing. What? That's what moms are for! He's just lucky I didn't bring the sign I was planning on taking.

That's right ladies and gents, a star has been born! Today Vet #1. Tomorrow the great white way! I can't believe my baby has done his first school play...I'm feeling old friends. Another parenting milestone to check off the list. We are so proud of our dude!

Break a leg!!

Not really though! Don't get all crazy and call CPS!!

The day has finally come. Another motherhood milestone to cross off the list! Today is Mason's very first....wait for it.....SCHOOL PLAY!! That's right ladies and gents, our little dude is making his theater debut. He's finally going to be able to showcase those acting chops! And I know I should be excited but I'm a little...well...nervous.

You see, Mason has the habit of saying and doing the most inappropriate things at the worst time. Like in the middle of a family dinner he decided to follow up someone's comment with a loud "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!!!" (that's my boy!! insert fist pump here!). Or at church when he decided to show me how he could fart with his armpits (which is actually impressive at such a young age!). Or at the drive-thru when he asked the cashier if he was chubby from eating too many french fries. Or at the market last night when he told the cashier he was going to stab him. You get the point.

So yeah, I'm a tad nervous. Here's hoping that Vet #1 sticks to the script!! But don't worry...I'm taking my camera along in the likely event that he doesn't. Note to self: crush up extra ritalin into Mason's cereal today.

That little pisser lifted his flippin hoof RIGHT NEXT to me and took a straight LEAK! Sweet mother of Abraham Lincoln I am losing my MIND! Who am I kidding...I lost that a long time ago. As for my couches, well, there's just no hope for them anymore.

Somebody pass me a Red Bull and OJ. I need a drink.

So. Hows your week?

5 minutes.......

Is five minutes ALONE too much to ask for?!

Apparently in this house hold it is. There's a lot I can do in 5 minutes. For example, I could switch over and fold laundry. Or I could take a shower and even SHAVE my legs, maybe an armpit or two if I'm lucky. I could read a chapter in my book. Heck, I could read a blog or two. I could friggin poop in PEACE!! That would be glorious!! So you see what I mean? I could really make a lot of use of five minutes.

However....there is also a lot my ritalin snorting crack-head off springs can do in 5 minutes too. They could empty every item of clothing from their dressers or from my bathroom.

{ May I interest you in some Qtips? Perhaps a band aid? }

They can go potty in their training toilet all by themselves and then BRING you the toilet to show you (leaving a trail behind them). They can clear out all of the food in the pantry.

But I think perhaps the most impressive task they've undertaken is redecorating the living room.

Yeaahhh....Boogie, or Boogaso as I now refer to him, took it upon himself to use the couch as a canvas while I took 5 MINUTES to myself to take a shower. Breathe in, breathe out. Note to self: Hairspray works WONDERS at getting out ink from upholstery.(But your house may reek like a giant bottle of aquanet for days) So I guess the real question shouldn't be 'Is 5 minutes alone too much to ask for?'......it should be....

Is 5 minutes alone even worth it??!!

This is what I love about living in CA...even my dogs work on their tans. Lazy furballs. Speaking of lazy....I need a nap. You would think that with Spring Break over, the House of Cline daycare closed, and Easter over that a girl could get a break around here. But noooooooo, because of course now Little Miss Presley is sick and she's taking her mama down with her. Booooo. Although I have to admit I love listening to people talk when they're stuffed up because they can't say their 'M's. I can't help but laugh every time the kids ask me for a cup of 'bilk' in their Darth Vader heavy breathing voice.

On a random note...this here is my baby brother, Junior. Doesn't he look like the dude from Prison Break? Wentworth Miller! Sorry for the crappy picture quality. My baby bro turned the big 1-8 last week and he's getting ready to go off to college! **tear** He's gonna be a heart breaker for sure...

If you need me I'll be huffing on Vic's and Pedialyte with the baby!
