Rest, relaxation, and more rest.....

Ahhhhh.....

18 hours. I slept 18 hours in two days. I wish you could see the tears of happiness streaming down my face right now. That's like a week's worth of sleep for me. This last weekend, The Hubs and I sneaked off to Tahoe for a weekend getaway. And by "sneaked off" I mean, threw a ticker tape parade, shouted from the roof tops, partied like its 1999, peaced out, got the heck out of dodge!

Despite some intense babysitting issues, we were able to get to Tahoe and enjoy life again take a breather. We had the most amazing suite and were rolling straight baller status. The room was decked out with everything from an office to a pool table. It was bigger than my house...no joke. And the best part? I didn't have to clean a dang thing! We had a blast eating, sleeping, shopping, sleeping, meeting up with the adorable Stephanie and family, sleeping, and just hanging out. See for yourself....

Frenchie, food, and fun!

I've been trying to roll my bloated arse out of bed so I could show you these pictures for the last few days, but I'm still recovering from my food hang over. Seriously what is it about having family in town that just makes you stuff your face like you're never going to have a warm meal again?? Ughh. Moving on, last week was an absolute blast! Way too much fun, way too many laughs, and way too much food! I'm still popping IBS pills like they're going out of style. Anymudbutt, remember how I told you Frenchie was bringing a mystery guest?? Well here he is!!

Yup! Frenchie and J met through yours truly (Cupid can suck it!!) and they came up for a little vacation. She flew in to LAX, picked up my big bro and road tripped it up north. We laughed, we cried, we farted (like I said, there was TONS of food) and we loved every second of it. Here's a little peek into our week...

IT'S OUR BLOGGY BIRTHDAY!

Bust out the confetti fools because today's the big day! HUZZA! The proverbial doors of It Ain't Easy Bring Cheesy have been opened for ONE YEAR now and my, oh my, how time flies!

So what better way to celebrate this special occasion than with a little family shindig...and that's exactly what we did last night. The chocolate milk was flowing, cake was being devoured, decorations were in full effect, and the party goers were crazier than Lindsey Lohan at Voyeur. Milka-whaaat!

Let me tell you folks, it was one crazy par-tay. These kids were throwing back shots of Carnation instant breakfast like it was nobody's business! Bed time came and went, but we got down with our bad selves none the less. Wanna see?

It's been awesome documenting my family's journey and picking up some amazing friends along the way. You guys seriously rock. Thanks for the good times! Here's to another year! Love is in the air folks! My mind is all a blur with thoughts of my boo this morning. Hey Jordan, what are you wearing? Meow. Or maybe I'm just still a little loopy from the sleeping pills I took last night. Which by the way are GLORIOUS! Why didn't anyone tell me about Excedrin PM before??? Normally sleeping pills don't work for me due to hyperactivity issues, and to be honest, I didn't sleep great at all last night. But man, I sure passed out quick! The last thing I remember was singing show tunes to Jordan while trying to breathe out of one nostril (I have a cold) and then waking up in a puddle of drool with my hair matted to my face. I'm beyond sexy in the morning. It's criminal.

Side note: Does anyone else's drool bleach their sheets? Or is that just my toxic saliva?? Gross I know. But really, is it just me?

Now back to this 'love in the air' crap I was talking about. Guess what this Sunday is?? It's our anniversary! 4 years people. 4 glorious....long....amazing...LOOOOOOOOOONG....years. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to see if this is just a dream, but as crazy as it sounds it's not. I knew Jordan for all of 55 days before we got married. Now 4 years, 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 1 house later here we are. As crazy and in love as ever! Mushy mushy lovey dovey kissy face and all that nonsense.

So this is where you all come in. In celebration of 4 years I'm handing the reins over to you! It's time for you to ask anything and everything you've ever wanted to know about me, him, us, life. Anything...well almost anything. And here's the best part...HE'S going to have to answer them and post them this week! Hahahaa!! Au Revoir Frenchie! Le cercle de confiance....

These last few days have been a blur....but a fabulous blur!! It's been non-stop madness since Monday and now that the dust is settled I have to admit that the ol' heart strings are pulling. It was such a breath of fresh air to spend the last few days with two of the most amazing, hysterical, fabulous, and down to earth people ever. And now they're GONE! WAHHHH!!! I promised myself I wouldn't cry....**SOB!**....ok I'm better now. Good thing my Banana lives a stones throw away or I might go through withdrawal. As for my Frenchie, watch out skype, I'm hitting the airwaves!!!

Monday was pure excitement! I couldn't WAIT to meet up with the girls that night. After a day of sightseeing in San Francisco Mayra and Mag met me and ALL OF MY KIDS for dinner. Yeah....talk about chaos!! Luckily I was too busy bonding with my blogging besties to even care about the fact that my kids were wreaking havoc. Mothering at it's finest! But we had an awesome time and I knew within 1 minute that it was going to be an amazing trip. Here's the 60 second version:

It was such a good time having Mag spend a few days bunking at the house! I was able to introduce her to the finer things in life....like Jersey Shore, The Bachelor, Conveyor Belt of Love, and Rock Star.....we're classy like that! But I couldn't let her go without bonding over some MSW (Murder She Wrote y'all...JB Fletcher's where its at!)

But before Mag headed out we HAD to stop by Mayra's AMAZING (seriously its so. dang. cute) house to give the nuggets some love! If you didn't know, my little banana has two of the cutest pups EVER....I present to you....

I'm so excited....I'm so...I'm so....SCARED!! Hahahaa!! Anyone remember that episode of Saved By The Bell where Jesse, Kelly, and Lisa make a music video and Jesse gets addicted to caffeine pills?? Somebody should have given that chick a red bull..mmmm..HAHAHHAAA!!! Just me?? Ok then....

Well I'm flippin' excited for today. Which is something I don't normally say on Mondays. But it's going to be a fantastic day, and here's why....

1. MASON GOES BACK TO SCHOOL!!! Oh glory be! Winter vacation SUCKS. The holidays are fun and all, but this whole 'home for two weeks straight' thing is just torture! I can't WAIT to drop him off...I'm not even stopping the car. I'm just gonna bring it to a slow crawl and tell that fool to 'TUCK & ROLL'!! Plus...he's beyond excited to go see his friends and compare Christmas gifts.

2. I can BLOG again....oh freak yeah....mama's missed you guys. I felt like a junkie trying to sneak on the computer and grab 5 minutes here and there to get my fix. But no more!! I'm back!!

3. I won two giveaways!! Whoop whoop! I can't wait to tell you all about them tomorrow and to post a giveaway for YOU! It's been a while and to say thanks for stickin' around, I'm gonna shower you with appreciation. I'm friggin thoughtful.

You know whats crazy, OTHER than Frenchie (whom I have never met in 'real life' per se) flying all the way to Cali to hang out? Ummm, the fact that she reads my blog and STILL wants to come out! HAA! Well. I can't say I didn't warn her! So wish us luck, because she may need it.

SITScation '09...

Well, I think it's safe to say they liked me. I think. I hope. Let me tell you I was a nervous wreck on the way to SITScation. I got all gassy and was crop dusting through the entire airport...it was a bad deal!! Does anyone else have to poop when they get nervous? Anyone? Just me? Right then....Moving on. But SITScation has come and gone, and man, what a weekend we had!! Here's a list of my accomplishments over the weekend:

* Got mistaken for a hooker- true story. totally flattering!

* Listened to some AMAZING speakers! (I feel legit now!)

* Caught a cold. OF COURSE!

* Got some awesome swag...which may or may not have included a, ummm, toy...yeah, that kinda toy.

* Met some flippin' fabulous bloggers and now have way too many girl crushes.

* Dropped it like its hot...then picked it up and shook it like a polaroid picture...friggin' worked it.

* Got invited to Kim Kardashian's B-day party....politely declined.
