I've been trying to tell you for the last few days just how awesome my birthday was, but I've had my head buried reading The Hunger Games books while the kids destroyed the house been a wee bit side tracked. But I'm here now, so lets get to it! You see, the Hubs, in his infinite awesomeness spoiled me with a lap dance top for my birthday! WOOO!! I feel like I'm finally OFFICIAL. I've been begging, pleading, kicking, screaming hinting for a lap top for quite some time now and I was beyond surprised when he pulled out the little beauty.

Note to self: resort to throwing tantrums when you really want something. Husband will come through.

For one brief moment, the heavens parted and angels were singing...somewhere in LA, Tom Cruise was jumping on a couch. This was a big deal folks. I have to say, having a lap top is AMAZING! My life is complete now that I can do this...

I'm still in awe over how great the entire day was. Friends and family spread the love. Lindsay Lohan went to the clink. Even the kids decided not be jackholes! Score! And reading all of those emails while sitting on the crapper was just an added bonus! I have a feeling that 27 is going to be a good year.

Roses and weiners....I mean winners

(No this is not a Bachelor re-cap post!)

Here's the thing with roses. They mean something. They're special....symbolic, if you will. People just don't understand the value of a rose anymore.You don't just GIVE a rose away to any gussied up floozy who waves her ta-tas in your face.....a carnation...MAYBE. Or perhaps a dandelion. Shoot, I wouldn't even give half of those bimbos a TWIG! But I'm getting off track. A rose is reserved for the elite things in life! For instance...if I had 10 roses, you know who they'd go to??? Let me tell you...

1. My family...of course. You may all be friggin nut jobs, but you're my nut jobs and I have this strange fondness for you. Weird. Take the rose fools.

2. Red Bull...oh my dear sweet carbonated deliciousness. I've said some crazy things in the past, like 'I'm gonna limit you!' or 'I really should drink more water!'. But that's just gibberish! You know I don't really mean that. I couldn't function live without you in my life! So what do you say, will you accept this rose?

3. Murder, She Wrote...I'd give you an entire rosebush! That's how much you mean to me. Through the past years we've formed an unbreakable bond that I've come to depend on. I'd be honored if you continued to unmask murderers with me until the wee hours of the night. Will you accept this rose?

4. Ritalin...I held off on letting you into our lives for SO long. The day you finally arrived changed our lives (and Mason's well being) forever. Plus, you're so much cheaper than crack. Will you accept this rose?

Friday already?? How the crap did that happen?! I can't believe we're already a week into the new year. And I've already managed to break all my resolutions!! HA! Well...I did keep one...grrrr. Posh Spice has nothing on me!

Well I survived. After countless Saturdays spent screaming like a mad woman foaming at the mouth cheering on Mason from the sidelines, the season is coming to an end and we've made it in tact and without any fines or citations. I'm just as surprised as you are. I thought for sure I'd have at least one throw down with another mom....not that I didn't try, they're just apparently scared of this latina fury RAAWRRRR classier than I am. Whatever. Forget the Posh Spice's of the soccer world...I'll bring her down by her nappy hair, and look faaaabulous doing it!

But being that I was the Team Manager (yeah I don't know why they let me be that either) I was in charge of the 'End Of Season Party' and last night was THE night. I'd been stressing about it for a few days WEEKS! The end of season party is like a debutante's debut at the Cotillion, you only get one shot and you better make it good! (that's what she said) Unless your Jenny Humphrey...Gossip Girl, anyone??? Moving on. So needless to say I was a little nervous. My poor toilet, it gets abused when I get nervous...I can't help it. I have fidgety bowels. But it went off great and the kids had a blast!! We are so proud of Mason for being such an awesome team player...and for not getting in any brawls on the field! We're already excited for next year, that's for sure...For your viewing pleasure, I present the 2009 Lillehammers!

Then after I've settled down for a minute I explain to them that I picked the cheese because, well, first of all it's delicious. And second of all, it goes great with our theme. I want you to know that while I may come across as cheesy, I am also cultured and classy, like a fine bottle of wine...or in my case Martinelli's Sparkling apple cider, since you all know I don't drizink. Now, let's talk about me...26 years ago today, everything went downhill the world became a better place. The heaven's parted and my parents were graced with a screaming bundle of crazy that would give them grief for years to come a darling baby girl that would be the sunshine in their lives. Now that baby girl has transformed into a bigger bundle of crazy a responsible young woman and has been the source of many therapy visits the source of endless happiness to all those around her. Don't you love talking about me? This is just great...

I had a fantastic BDW (birthday weekend) and Jordan spoiled me to my heart's content. We are officially broke, but hey, I had fun and that's what counts. Being the awesome hubby that he is he took me shopping and got me all kinds of neat clothing and accessories. My favorite being the one below....Yes, that's a necklace with a gun, bullet, and grenade. Romantic isn't he?
He even took me to a health food restaurant so I could enjoy a gluten free vegan meal. I'd like to say it was delicious but I'd be lying. On the bright side it didn't give me muddbutt, so I'll take it! He even made me an allergy friendly dinner tonight consisting of Mac & Chreese. No that's not a typo. Chreese?! What the heck is CHREESE!!!????

Disgusting that's what it is! Sorry honey. A for effort, but vomit in my mouth that chreese was rancid. Plus, I got to spend the entire weekend with good friends, what could be better than that? I'll tell you what would be better! Josh Groban serenading me with a Happy Birthday song....that's what.

2- I have a deep rooted fear of clowns.
3- My all time favorite show is Murder, she wrote....don't hate! That show rocks!!
4- I love old Mel Brooks movies...young frankenstein anybody?
5- I can burp on command.
6- I make bomb enchiladas.
7- I'm allergic to hair dye, but I dye my hair anyway!! Don't ask....it's a long story.

So I'm breaking the rules (refer to #1- I'm a rebel) and I'm only passing this on to one. And I choose....drumroll puh-lease....Atlanta over at Life(ish). My mind took a mental blog vacation this weekend (must have been a side effect from the brutal wasp attack)....so instead here are some random pictures from our weekend! Enjoy...

Denio's Farmer's Market!! WOOO! We got some yummy and dirt cheap produce...and the kids got fake AK-47's. Every one wins! Did I mention why the kids wanted AK 47's? It may or may not have something to do with their father's sick obsession and massive gun collection desire to be just like Daddy! yay.


We discovered this diamond in the rough! Who knew the farmer's market had such a fine and quite extensive selection of dirt cheap skivvies and over the shoulder boulder holders women's unmentionables made out of nasty polyester blends the finest silk around...


REMEMBER THESE?! I'm pretty sure we still have one with an eagle on it!! I was tempted to buy the snow leapord blanket, but somehow mustered enough will power to resist it.


Ahh....the market place. My favorite! We loaded up on all the delicioso Mexican candy we could shove in our bag....and did you know I can get a Raider's pinata for only $9?! I may have to splurge and get one for my birthday...
