Say CHEESE!
You know the BEST thing about having kids?? That now I get to plaster them all over our Christmas cards instead of having to plaster my mug on it. Because I'll tell you what, I HATE having my picture taken. I'm incapable of making a normal smile. I either end up looking constipated or like I'm about to sneeze, neither of which is a good look for me. And as much as I would LOVE to spread some Yuletide cheer looking like I'm incapable of passing a Yule-log, I think I'll pass.
So now all that's left is for me to decide which picture to use...

A simple addition fact...
$20 + $20 + $20 =

PRICELESS!!
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know I was totally against them...BUT...how could I tell those little faces no?? All I can say is, that at $20 a pop its a dang good thing that they LOVE these over-priced pillows! Not only do they love them, but heaven forbid I call them pillows. No siree, they are strictly PETS. At least on the bright side, our latest pets Toby, Buggy, and Buzzle don't crap on the carpets.
They drag these creepy pillows...ahem...pets... every where with them AND they've slept with them EVERY single night since we got them. And hey, let's be honest... I'll do whatever it takes to get my kids to sleepincluding benadryl. I'm not above bribery or sedating! Worth every penny....right Jordan?
In other totally unrelated news....what in the name of all things baked and delicious is going on in this picture??

Actually...I'm not sure I want to know. Somethings are just better left alone. Like that dude and his doughnuts.

The boys are back in town...
They've got some new threads and some fresh kicks....
{Boogie throwin' out the vibe for all the preschool babes}The first day of school was a success for everyone! Boogie managed to keep his pants up at school and Mason's teacher didn't cry. All in all, I call that a raging success!
I don't care what anyone says, I LOVE public school. If you need me I'll be jumping on the couch...or FINALLY blogging...or at Target...or pooping in peace. Boo to the ya! GLORIOUS!

Boogie oogie oogie...
There's nothing better than a little entertainment with a good meal. And thanks to my faaaabulous offspring, every one at Joe's Crab Shack got a live show with their lunch!
There we were...in the middle of a nice meal...when all of a sudden the music starts blaring over the speakers. Boom boom chicka chicka wahhhh boom boom! The next thing I know, Boogie's tossed his fish n' chips on the ground and he starts convulsing....in rhythm...almost like he's dancing. First the shoulders...then the feet...then the jazz hands came out and I knew it was on like donkey kong!
There he was, in the middle of the restaurant, straight busting a move likehis daddy he was on Soul Train, when out of the corner of my eye I see a little purple blur dropping it like its hot! Her milkshake was bringing the toddlers to the yard! Of course that little purple booger was non other that Little Miss Presley Rose with moves like *cough*cough*her mama*cough*cough* Shakira! And to my complete surprise Mason sat in his chair the ENTIRE time. Apparently now that he's in 2nd grade its not "cool" to dance in public, or so I'm told.
So I did what any good mother would do, sat back and let them boogie oogie oogie til they just couldn't boogie no more! And lucky for you guys I had my camera. The pictures not the best but you can still see them in all of their extreme cuteness!
{Boogie's in the black tee and Little Miss is in the purple top and shorts}

We're back!!!
Did I forget to tell you we were gone? Last week we decided to pack up the swagger wagon and head out to Monterey for some good ol' family fun, DANG IT! Ever since honeymooning in Monterey it's become a sort of family tradition to go every year. So we stocked up on medication, caffeine and clean undies and got the heck out of dodge! The kids always have a blast, and Jordan and I....well...we survived. Barely. We started the trip off by heading to Monterey's Youth Museum. My little mongrels LOVED it, and I have to say, it was pretty dang rad!
{The Cline Crew to the rescue!}
{She's 1 going on 16...}
And of course we hit up Fisherman's Wharf and the Monterey Bay Aquarium...
{They're like snuggly little sausages...I want one}
{The three stooges...}
{Scuba Steve and the boys}

{I'm secretly obsessed with sea horses...so dang rad}
{My little matey's lookin' for booty...}
{Pirate prom photo circa 2010}
We even managed to sneak in trips to the Carmel Mission, 17 mile drive, and Dennis the Menace Park. It was exhausting, long, hectic, and crazy....and we loved every minute of it! But now I need a vacation from our vacation...something that includes no kids, lots of sun, fruity drinks, and a Murder She Wrote marathon...sigh...I can dream, can't I?

I'm losin' it folks...
Summer is halfway over!! THANK THE HEAVENS ABOVE! My frazzled nerves can't take it anymore. If I have to hear one more "I'm bored!" I think I may lose it. My patience is thin, folks...dangerously thin. I've reached my yearly quota of water fights, pool trips, and movie nights. And if I have to watch ONE MORE friggin' episode of iCarly I'm going to go postal and have to be locked up. Just throw me in the slammer right next to Lindsay Lohan...Milkawhaaaaat?? We can be rehab besties.
Anytrainwreck, back to iCarly...I can't stand that dang show! But Mason LOOOVES it! I just don't get it. And don't even get me started on all those other namby pamby Disney shows...At the risk of sounding old, I have to say that they just don't make TV shows like they used to anymore. We had the BEST shows growing up!
Whatever happened to shows like...

Forget the smores, I got to PEE ON TREES!
Yup, that's what the kids loved most about camping. That they got to pee anywhere and everywhere! And trust me, they did. Mas and Boogie were marking trees left and right. Boogie even secured his ownership of the giant Oak tree by leaving a steamer to stake his claim. It seemed that every time I turned around someone was dropping their drawers!
I was a littleterrified unsure of how camping was going to be with 3 kids, but all things considered, it was an awesome trip and we really had a blast. Next time everyone's getting a healthy does of benadryl before bed, because that whole 'going to sleep at midnight and waking up at the buttcrack of friggin DAWN' thing just wasn't working for me.
{Just add water and shake it baby! }

{Smoooores...nom nom nom...anyone else licking the screen? Just me?}

{Float on, folks, float on...}
{Do you have tickets? To the gun show!}
{My crazy crew...love love love}
When the sleeping bags are rolled, the tent packed away, and all is said and done, it was a dang good time and I can't wait to go again. Now if I can just get the boys to stop peeing in the neighbors bushes...
Happy Wednesday Amigos!

Beaver, beaver, beaver
Somehow...someway... I survived the field trip. Don't get me wrong, those little hooligans tried to break my spirit, but it didn't work. They were crazy if they thought a little motion sickness was gonna hold me down. I'm straight gangster...Note to self: never sit in the back of a crammed bus going down a windy road again. The kids had a blast at the Nature Center and I...well...I survived and have the pictures to prove it!!
{Read the name tag fools...it's Mrs. Cline to you.}
{Read the name tag fools...it's Mrs. Cline to you.}The highlight of the trip, however, doesn't need a picture! It was while the kids were snuggling the fur pelts and a certain little boy...ahem...who shall not be named...held up a beaver fur pelt and loudly yelled "I LOVE .... (...well you fill in the blank, this is a family blog after all)"
PRICELESS! Made the entire field trip totally worth it.
Happy Monday!!
Happy Monday!!
