Rest, relaxation, and more rest.....

Ahhhhh.....

18 hours. I slept 18 hours in two days. I wish you could see the tears of happiness streaming down my face right now. That's like a week's worth of sleep for me. This last weekend, The Hubs and I sneaked off to Tahoe for a weekend getaway. And by "sneaked off" I mean, threw a ticker tape parade, shouted from the roof tops, partied like its 1999, peaced out, got the heck out of dodge!

Despite some intense babysitting issues, we were able to get to Tahoe and enjoy life again take a breather. We had the most amazing suite and were rolling straight baller status. The room was decked out with everything from an office to a pool table. It was bigger than my house...no joke. And the best part? I didn't have to clean a dang thing! We had a blast eating, sleeping, shopping, sleeping, meeting up with the adorable Stephanie and family, sleeping, and just hanging out. See for yourself....

{Until we meet again Tahoe.....}

{This guy still gives me butterflies...or maybe its gas}

{We picked up some essentials....because no one likes funk in their junk}

I miss you Tahoe...we'll meet again! But for now its back to reality (did anyone else sing 'back to life, back to reality' just now? I did...thank you Soul II Soul). I already need a nap.

Taking in the scenery....

While we were in Monterey, we set out to Pebble Beach to coast down 17 mile drive and take in the sights. That's where we saw this stud....just throwin' out the vibe. Rawr. Don't swoon all at once ladies, I know its hard to take your eyes off of that rump roast. You're welcome.

{Crack is whack kids...}

We're back!!!

Did I forget to tell you we were gone? Last week we decided to pack up the swagger wagon and head out to Monterey for some good ol' family fun, DANG IT! Ever since honeymooning in Monterey it's become a sort of family tradition to go every year. So we stocked up on medication, caffeine and clean undies and got the heck out of dodge! The kids always have a blast, and Jordan and I....well...we survived. Barely. We started the trip off by heading to Monterey's Youth Museum. My little mongrels LOVED it, and I have to say, it was pretty dang rad!

{The Cline Crew to the rescue!}

{She's 1 going on 16...}

And of course we hit up Fisherman's Wharf and the Monterey Bay Aquarium...

{They're like snuggly little sausages...I want one}

{The three stooges...}

{Scuba Steve and the boys}

{I'm secretly obsessed with sea horses...so dang rad}

{My little matey's lookin' for booty...}

{Pirate prom photo circa 2010}

{Fine dining on the wharf....I'll have the Sally special}

{Family stoll in Pebble Beach...The Dude was working on a tan}

{Don't let the smile fool you...it was flippin freezin!}

{Happy Birthday to Me!! Mark your calendars folks...July 20th!}

{Little Miss Presley conducting the train}

We even managed to sneak in trips to the Carmel Mission, 17 mile drive, and Dennis the Menace Park. It was exhausting, long, hectic, and crazy....and we loved every minute of it! But now I need a vacation from our vacation...something that includes no kids, lots of sun, fruity drinks, and a Murder She Wrote marathon...sigh...I can dream, can't I?

Happy Tuesday Amigos!

Forget the smores, I got to PEE ON TREES!

Yup, that's what the kids loved most about camping. That they got to pee anywhere and everywhere! And trust me, they did. Mas and Boogie were marking trees left and right. Boogie even secured his ownership of the giant Oak tree by leaving a steamer to stake his claim. It seemed that every time I turned around someone was dropping their drawers!

I was a little terrified unsure of how camping was going to be with 3 kids, but all things considered, it was an awesome trip and we really had a blast. Next time everyone's getting a healthy does of benadryl before bed, because that whole 'going to sleep at midnight and waking up at the buttcrack of friggin DAWN' thing just wasn't working for me.

{Just add water and shake it baby! }

{Smoooores...nom nom nom...anyone else licking the screen? Just me?}

{Even Santa was taking a summer vacay...lookin' for those Ho, Ho, Hos!}

{Spiderman floaties are all the rage...}

{Float on, folks, float on...}

{Way cuter than the Michelin man!}

{The dirtier the child, the happier they are!}

{Male bonding time with Papa Bear...}

{Girl's gone wild! WOOOOO!}

{Do you have tickets? To the gun show!}

{Campfire snuggle time with Papa Bear}

{My crazy crew...love love love}

When the sleeping bags are rolled, the tent packed away, and all is said and done, it was a dang good time and I can't wait to go again. Now if I can just get the boys to stop peeing in the neighbors bushes...

Happy Wednesday Amigos!

I was going to tell you...

I had every intention about telling you about our vacation. I was going to tell you about how Disneyland was amazing and how the kids loved every minute of it. I was going to tell you about the friggin' window-licker that set off the hotel fire alarm on Saturday, waking everybody up, at 7 IN THE MORNING because they BURNT A FLIPPIN' WAFFLE! I was going to tell you about how we had to stand outside for 20 minutes in our pajamas with 3 crying children until the firemen got there because someone BURNT A FLIPPIN' WAFFLE! Eat a bowl of cereal you twit!! I'm not bitter. Sidenote: Some really interesting people stay at hotels.....like the 50something truckdriver with his 20something Craigslist date...if you catch my drift. I was going to tell you about how Mason learned a new word and now calls me a Hoarder. But instead I'm going to tell you what I learned while I was on vacation.

I learned that my dogs must really love me. Yes, its true. And apparently they suffer from severe separation anxiety when I'm not home. I mean, why else would they chew up over $100's worth of toys? Hhhmmm? And I'm sure when they vomited it up all over the house it was because they were so sick to their stomach from missing us. I mean that's what I do when Jordan's gone and I miss him. It's only natural. And heck, now I can get my carpets cleaned...

And why else would they do this...

{Yeeeaahhhh....L-O-V-E}

It's obvious that they were trying to look outside to see if we were home yet. They really do love us. So sweet. So so so effing sweet. Man's best friend my arse. You know when else I learned? That separation anxiety is cured at the boarding kennel.

**ps** just to clear any confusion...we did have a full time sitter for our dogs. we would NEVER leave our animals alone.

We're back!!!

Did I forget to tell you we were gone? Ooops.

Last week was a crazy blur. Right before we were set to leave my grandpa had a stroke. Thankfully he's MUCH better now, but it made our trip down to So-Cal even more important. I can't wait to tell you all about it, but right now I'm friggin' exhausted, so these pictures will have to do the talking!

{House of Cline invades the House of Mouse!}

{Boogie getting his Toy Story fix...}

{Little Miss Presley LOVED this ride....with all its freaky munchkins and they're creepy singing}

{Drollgirl, this one's for you!}

{Boogie was OBSESSED with Buzz...he couldn't even look at the camera}

{That's a good lookin' bunch!}

{I couldn't find Mason for 5 minutes....I finally found him here}

{Girl's gone wild!}

{My adorable Abuelita...isn't she a doll?!}

{This is his 'come hither' face..trying to tempt me with onion rings...meow}

{My little man with my big bro...kid loves his uncle!}

{Now this is what distinguished looks like...}

{Apparently a deep love for ski-ball runs in the family...}

{Rock climbing in a feeble attempt to wear the kid out!}

Hope you all had as great a weekend as we did!
Happy Monday folks...
Its good to be back...
