Arrivederci 2010!

Resolutions shmesolutions! BAH! I'm proud to say that I only accomplished one of my resolutions for 2010, #3, raawwwrrrr. But 1 out of 5 isn't bad. I think this year I just need to set my sights lower and make easier resolutions.

So without further adieu...I present for your viewing pleasure...

Shmesolutions 2011 Edition

**cue fireworks**

1. Throw my pantaloons at Tom Jones. He's a dreamboat and a half!

2. Perform a citizens arrest on anyone wearing Ed Hardy, Affliction, or Tap Out UNLESS you're an actual MMA fighter...even then, its not ok, but I don't want to be choked out.

3. Write love letters to The Hoff on old In N Out hamburger wrappers until he responds with an autographed photo.

4. Learn how to make the duck bill with Pringles WITHOUT breaking the chips every friggin time. arrgh!!

5. Actually WIN something playing McDonald's Monopoly and not just eat my own body weight in delicious, mouth-watering french fries....nom nom nom...


I think if I can manage to accomplish at least one of those things, then the year 2011 will hold great things for me. I'm staying positive folks! Those are some life altering resolutions right there.

I hope you all have an AMAZING New Year and that 2011 brings nothing but peace, love, happiness, and In N Out fries smothered in ketchup! (That last one was for me)

Eeenie meenie miney mo...

Decisions, decisions. I can't make up my mind! There are some decisions that are easy to make, Coke or Pepsi? Coke. Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate. See? Easy!

But others....argh....others have me stressing out for months on end! For example, my living room rug. I can't make up my ever loving mind what kind of rug I want.

Do I want modern rugs? Do I want solid rugs? Do I want bamboo rugs???? I can't decide! Anyone feel like decorating? Where the heck is Nate Berkus when you need him?!

And ANOTHER thing....my hurr. I can't decide what the heck to do with these luscious locks. Long or short? Short or long? I can't take the pressure of deciding!!

My natural hair is curly, super thick, and there is a TON of it. I know everyone always says they have a ton of hair, but, no really...I have a TON of hair. It's a friggin lion's mane. Thank heavens for flat irons!

So here is where I need your help. This is a crappy picture from yesterday giving you an idea of where my hair is at...

I'm so thankful to have this time to spend with family and loved ones, treasuring the small moments, the tender embraces, and the abounding love.

I'm so thankful for this time to reflect on the Lord and all he has done in my life.

I'm so thankful to look at my family and know that I have the most amazing gifts that money could never buy!

So thanks Santa, but I'm covered :)

I keep waiting and waiting for life to settle down so I can sit my happy arse down on the couch and tend to the important things....like blogging. But no such luck! It seems like every time I get a free 5 minutes someone needs something...cookies for class, ride to a friends, gifts for a party, lunch, a bath, attention...you know, nothing important. So while I've had no time to update you on how I've had no time for anything, I'll tell you what we DID have time for. FAMILY PHOTOS!!

Shoot me in the face, I hate having pictures done. Normally you'd have to drag me kicking and screaming BUT this time it was different. You see, one of my best besties started her own photography company and she offered to do our pics. HECK YES! So I gathered the troops, color coordinated their happy arses, threatened them to smile OR ELSE, and got our vogue on.... I LOVE how they turned out...here's a peek at a few of my faves!

You know the BEST thing about having kids?? That now I get to plaster them all over our Christmas cards instead of having to plaster my mug on it. Because I'll tell you what, I HATE having my picture taken. I'm incapable of making a normal smile. I either end up looking constipated or like I'm about to sneeze, neither of which is a good look for me. And as much as I would LOVE to spread some Yuletide cheer looking like I'm incapable of passing a Yule-log, I think I'll pass.

So now all that's left is for me to decide which picture to use...

He's 7 and 4 days!!

So this post is about 4 days overdue, but hey, its still technically his birthday month so I think its ok. Last Friday The Dude made it official and turned the big 0-7!! YEAH! How he's made it to 7 is beyond me...

Since the Fam was in town for Thanksgiving we took advantage and had a little co-birthday party since The Little Miss turns the big 0-2 this Thursday! Don't even get me started....I'm in denial that she's growing up. *SOB*

So my dear sweet Mason, I hope you had an amazing 7th birthday.
We love you more than life itself and you make every day worth living.
We are so proud of the amazing young man you are becoming

Gobble Gobble Suckas!

Is anyone else drooling in anticipation for Thursday?? I know I am! I've got my stretchy pants washed and ready for use. I've got my Black Friday ads circled and mapped out. Target. Old Navy. Kohl's. Make way chumps! I am ready to make this Thanksgiving my biznatchel! Huzzah!!

And lucky me, I get to HOST turkey day this year...ALL of the family at my house...whoopity doo. We may end up eating Carl's Jr depending on how things go around here. But there is one major bonus to having family coming over for the holidays....it's TOTALLY lit a fire under my lazy arse for Jordan to get things done around here.

Between painting bedrooms, hanging drapes, re-decorating, and wrangling feral children, its been a CRAZY week. I'm still on a mission to find some awesome barstool and the perfect mirror for Little Miss Presley's room. That's on the to-do list for tomorrow....until then, its off to figure out how the heck I'm gonna cook this bird.

This last weekend we celebrated The Dude's 7th birthday and it was INTENSE! He wanted a Lego party and a Lego party HE GOT! I didn't clean the house or make dinner for two weeks straight, but I did make some pretty legit party decorations for this kid. Not that any of the kids there cared about how friggin awesome my cupcake toppers were....but I know you all do. RIGHT?? Go on, take a peek at The Dude's fiesta...

And even though his actual birthday isn't until next week, The Dude told us he had the best birthday EVER! I'll accept my Mother of the Year award now, thankyouverymuch.

Next on the list....The Little Miss' birthday party....IN 2 WEEKS!!! Shoot me now...and pass the glue gun.

Better late than never!

I know, I know...this post is a wee bit late, but here it is in all of its glory! Halloween was a blast! It was a non-stop weekend of class parties, trunk-or-treats, house parties and trick-or-treating...oh, and pumpkin smashing with toes. Of course it was filled with the traditional Halloween fun like pumpkin carving....

and good times with friends at the Casa De Cline...

and of course there were costumes!!

All I wanted was a little treat, instead I got a toe-ful of pumpkin. I was brutally assaulted by the heartless fruit (that's right its a fruit). Yeah, that happened. One sprained toe, two crutches, an infection, and a heck of a lot of pain later...Halloween was a friggin' hoot. At least I have boatloads of candy to ease my pain...

But on the bright side, the kids had an absolute blast huffing candy for 3 days straight and they looked absolutely ADORABLE wearing their costumes EVERYWHERE we went. And trust me, they wore them eeeeeverywhere. I'm off to go raid their candy stash....have an awesome weekend amigos!!

Apparently I wasn't shoveling this frozen goodness into her mouth fast enough...she had to take matter into her own hands...or should I say mouth!

It's cute when she does it. When I do it people just look at me crazy. But you know what this picture taught me? That I don't think I'm gonna have to worry too much about this girl. She seems to know how to handle things herself! She's a do-er folks.

I'm glad she can take care of herself, because life has been kicking my arse. And so have our new stairs...I've fallen...TWICE. I'm about as graceful as Paris Hilton getting out of her car and flashing the paps her vajayjay.

I think I jinxed myself last post when I said that life was returning to normal. Life has been CRAZY! But we are settled into the new abode! Excluding the stairs and the current paint job (I'm working on that as we speak), I'm LOVING the new house....its pretty much amazing to put the kids in their rooms upstairs and shut the door and go down stairs to SILENCE and relax. Having space is GLORIOUS!

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to tackle the room I fondly call the "red room disco"...it's just wrong on so many levels...

Ok be honest, when you read the title to this post did you think it said testicle?? Because I totally did.

Anytestes....yes we're alive....BARELY. I'll get around to telling you what happened as soon as I brush the packing peanuts and packing tape off of me, because we MOVED! That's right! The Casa De Cline has found a new abode, and its pretty flippin awesome! I'd show you some pics, but the camera is still packed under a mountain of boxes that I don't plan on unpacking anytime soon and there's crap every where I'm not done decorating.

So needless to say, life has been just a wee bit insane lately. And for the record, not having the internet SUCKS! The internet repair man thought I was brit-brit crazy when I greeted him with a ticker tape parade. What can I say, I was excited...but I admit the jazz hands and 'welcome' sign may have been a little over the top. So I'm animated, deal with it!

But thankfully we're up and running and life can return to "normal". Because I'll tell you what, all this family time and cleaning time has secretly been absolutely amazing is taking a toll on me. I'm not cut out for that kind of stuff.

I can't wait to get caught up and tell you all about our 2 weeks spent nursing burn wounds, going to doctor's visits, moving, and painting the most heinous room I've ever seen in my life.

It's good to be back....

Ho, Ho, and more Ho's!!

And no, I'm not talking about the kind Jesse James and Tiger mess with.....I'm talking about the kind that go with jingle bells and candy canes. That's right folks, I've got Christmas on the brain! 3 months to go, so much to do and so little time! I think its safe to say I have 87% of my Christmas shopping done...and I'm dead serious. I'm like a machine. Now the hard part is going to be keeping the gifts out of the grubby little hands of my munchkins!

But there's one gift that is on top secret lock down. I've become OBSESSED with it lately. So, since I can't keep my mouth shut and I'm dying to talk to someone about it, I'm gonna show you! You lucky little beasts.

This year for Christmas we're getting the kids a kitchen set. Its ADORABLE and I can't wait to see the Little Miss' face on Christmas morning. So of course, they're going to need the proper accessories for their new digs...courtesy of their Mother of the Year...that would be me of course. I've been sneaking a few minutes on the sewing machine here and there whipping up these felt goodies...take a sneak peak at a few of them...
