18 days....that's right. 18 DAYS til Christmas! Holiday season is in full swing! And this week Crazymama wants to know how you spend your time during the holiday insanity. So read on and link up my dears!

What is your favorite cookie to eat?

How are you doing on your holiday shopping?

And a random seasonal 3 part question...Light displays...do you put them on your house? What is your style and your fave kind to see?

Snickerdoodles all the way!! But only the Udi's gluten free ones....seriously they are DELICIOUS! And I don't get a rash or stinky gas from eating them....BONUS!

Nope, never have! I have a confession...I HATE BAKING. Like really hate it. I would rather scrub toilets than bake cookies. Lucky for me, my husband is an AMAZING baker...just ask any of my friends.
How are you doing on your holiday shopping?
98% done! Other than a few small things, I'm totally done. Woot woot!
What is your holiday shopping style? (A little at a time, or power

I start shopping in like July, no joke. I get a little bit here and there and then pick up a few things off of the kid's 'Santa list: after they write it in December. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't still shop the sales anyway :)
Light displays...do you put them on your house? What is your style and your fave kind to see?
HECK YES! I'm all about the lights!! Hubs puts them up right after Thanksgiving. We have multicolored lights dangling from the roof, light up candy canes up the walkways, light ropes around the trees, and an adorable manger scene in the front yard. I love the way it looks! Every year we drive around with hot chocolate in hand and check out the lights while rocking out to some Christmas jams....its SO much fun!! My favorite lights are the ones that have fun displays set up, people get so creative!

ReplyDeleteI wish I could put up lights... I'm obsessed with all things Xmas and what did I do? I went and married scrooge. Seriously. Hubs is so anti-Xmas I almost want him to join some sort of support program.

ReplyDeleteI get on a baking kick now and then but for the most part, find myself irritated by a baking tasks. Hence, no exchanges for me!

We try to go see lights Christmas Eve. It fun and a way to contain the boys because that is such a hard day to wait through.

ReplyDeleteI noticed a few people are picking snickerdoodles as their favourite cookie - I've heard of them, but I don't think I've ever tried them! Off to print a recipe to try this weekend!! :)

ReplyDeleteOhhh lights. We totally used to drive around looking for good displays but I don't think I can deal with the herd, packed in like sardines, up in my grill talking this year to do it. You'd think a suburban would be roomier but no.

I totally LOVE baking....wanna wheel and deal?? I have a bathroom that two little boys use....come clean that and I will bake you all the gluten free ANYTHING you want....wadda ya say?
