TA-FRIGGIN-DA!!! I DID IT!!!!!

TOOT TOOT!!

That's my flippin' whistle right there folks, because I DID IT! I made a fondant cake and I love love love the way it turned out. First time folks. FIRST TIME. TOOOOOOT! I'm done tooting now. I can't wait to see the look on Boogie's face when he sees his cake. That smile is going to be worth the powdered sugared mess all over my kitchen, the burning in my back from standing, the bags under my eyes....totally worth it.

It was actually a lot easier than I had anticipated...but sweet mother of pearl, my hands are SORE! All that kneading....ughhhh...not fun. But still, totally worth it! I'll accept my Mother of the Year award now, thankyouverymuch.

I suppose I'd better shut the fridge and stop making googly eyes at my Boogie's cake now, seeing as how I have a party to throw tonight! Boogie's turning the big 0-4 this weekend and we're gonna celebrate Scooby style! Woot!

ps- Did anyone catch Jersey Shore?!?! Yeeaaahhhh! Loved every hot mess minute of it!!

    AND - I missed JS. I was actually going to watch it but Hubs was a total tv hog. Im sure Mtv will re-run it a million and three times though.

    How are you like this? I tried to make pancakes this morning...from a mix...and they were, shall we say, acceptable?

    And you put the word "easy" in there? Alicia Penelope con Queso, that mess was not easy.

    If I made that, I'd walk around holding a picture of it and telling strangers about it.
