{ Definitely not dog food... }You see, here's what happened. We went to Petco for dog food and unbeknownst to me, it was pet adoption day! NO NO NO NO NO!! Anyone who knows me knows that I can't say no to any animal. I can't help it...I'm a
So there I was, surrounded by mewing kittens and playful pups...all giving me their cute eyes and sloppy puppy kisses...I was breaking. And fast!! 2 more minutes and I would have been coming home with a new dog. No joke.We were almost to the register, when we saw him. Hurley, staring at us with those bambi eyes from behind his cage, BEGGING us to take him home. How could I say no to this??
Obviously I couldn't say no.

I'm so thankful that my son is 11 months old and can't quite beg for these things yet... And Hurley? Totes has a rockin' faux-hawk. Rock on, Hurley! And welcome to the family :)

ReplyDeleteAw, I think the guinea pigs are so cute, and my dog loves to watch them whenever we make our dog food trip (thankfully I've never succumbed to bringing one home). I love lil Hurley!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the running shoe affirmation. I had great shoes... well, they were great shoes when I got them 5 years ago, but they'd kinda lost their everything when it came to helping me run. Still breaking the new ones in, but I have high hopes for them!

OHMYGOSH! I LOOOOVE guinea pigs! I just love how soft they are and all the little swirls all over their bodies and the cute little squeaky noise they make! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! I had one when I was little and called it my "skinny pig". Lol! I tried to talk Kyle into letting me get Logan one but he shot me down. No pets for us. :(

ReplyDeleteI dont know why but I give in every time the hubs wants to get a new tortoise...I dont even really like reptiles *shaking head*. We've had 4, now only have 1 but this thing is growing fast & I have no clue what we're going to when it's eating an entire head of lettuce versus a cup full.
