I like to think of it as our version of couples therapy. If we both make it back alive, it's a sign that our marriage is still in good shape. Plus its always good to put a little fear in Jordan and let him know what I'm capable of, in case he ever gets any "ideas". And by "ideas" I mean "home-wrecking hussies". Forget divorce, I'm heading straight to the gun safe. But luckily for us we're MADLY in love....rawr...
{Right on target! And by target I mean NUTS.}
We had a blast (haha! get it??..blast!) together and it was awesome to spend a little quality time with my hunka hunka burning love of a husband. We even finished off our date by renewing our NRA memberships and window shopping at Sportsman's Warehouse. Kidding folks. Kidding. And seeing as how we both made it home, it seems that we're doing something right. Hooray for guns! Oh, and date nights. But mainly guns!
Happy Monday Amigos!!
ps- 9 more days til my birthday! Not that I'm counting or anything....

LOL...I don't know how to use a gun, but if I ever caught my hubby with a "home-wreckin' hussies", I'd figure it out real quick! :) I think that's a great date night...Glad you guys had fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid of guns, but I agree with the previous comment ... if any "home-wreckin' hussies" are involved, I think that fear would be overcome! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG I really really want to do that!!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you aren't trying out for the Real Housewives of (insert your town name here)?
ReplyDeleteYou are hot with a gun!
You want to marry my husband? I won't go with him, even though he really wants me to.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a bit of a gun nut, I've fired a few and it is a rush however they still freak me out so I leave most of the gun toting to him. haha.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that there are guns on your shirt!!! This is definitely my huband's idea of a hot date, except instead of a shooting range, it would be the field out behind his parents house with the targets taped to an old wooden door that he rigged to stand up. Lol. We're extra country like that. His gun collection is growing by the day, it seems, so I suppose I need to just accept it, get myself a cute gun tee, and join him next time he goes shooting!
ReplyDeletefabulous idea. love it!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha...LOVE this post. I had a shirt back in the day that said....you guessed it...."Gun control means using both hands!" Word.up!!!
ReplyDeleteLove, meli
Ha! Now that is an exciting date night.
ReplyDelete....renewing our NRA memberships!!! HA! What a crazy and fun date night!
ReplyDelete(and I totally understand starting a birthday countdown weeks in advance. Doesn't everyone?!)
Haha, you're so funny! This is definitely the sort of date night the hubs & I go on too. A night at the gun range for us is like a night at the movies for others...fun times.
ReplyDeleteLove your shirt btw ;)
LOVE this for a date night, super creative!! Y'all are adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou gotta get 'em where it's gonna stop 'em. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun!! And how lucky that you have an indoor shooting range! Ours is outside. But the dump. Not kidding.
ReplyDeleteSee you in a couple weeks!!! Squeeeee!
Hey, I'm following here from Mamarazzi! After our 2 boys were born, my hubby and I joined a pistol league just for a fun night out once a week! I actually beat a policewoman...had to count my handicap...but, hey, that counts, right? Hope you will visit: http://childhoodmyths.net/blog
