Confession time...

I'm having a bit of writer's block today...I blame it on the PMS! So instead its time to get to know each other and play a little game I like to call 'Did I ever tell you...?' So pull up a chair friends because here goes!!

Did I ever tell you that I played clarinet and violin? (believe it folks)

Did I ever tell you that I piddled in a McD cup on our be-lated honeymoon? (to my defense we were on the 17 mile drive in Pebble Beach and there are NO bathrooms for...well...17 miles. AND I was pregnant and didn't know!)

{no shame people...when ya gotta go, ya gotta go}

Did I ever tell you that I'm allergic to hair dye and dye it anyway? (smart, I know)

Did I ever tell you that I used to be obsessed with N Sync? (yeah....don't ask)

Did I ever tell you that when I was little I used to drink the pickle juice out of the jar? (who does that????? nasty.)

Did I ever tell you that I have an intense, and I mean INTENSE, fear of people touching my wrists? (try touching it....and I will cut you...bon qui qui anyone?)

Yup, there ya have it....hope we're all still friends. But enough about me, what about you??? What's something about you I don't know? Keep it clean folks...keep it clean.

peee esss....have an awesome weekend and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I shanked a pumpkin...

Well after obsessing for the last week over what the crap we were going to carve our prized pumpkins out to be, desperation inspiration FINALLY hit! And let me tell you that after 2 days of searching for these suckers and a WEEK of debating what the freak to carve them as, we were ready to cut and gut these bad boys. I didn't know it was possible to harbor bad feelings towards fruit, but alas IT IS! And yes, it's a fruit...I'm just as shocked as you are.

Jordan and I even threw out some pre-carving butt kicking lines to the pumpkins...yeah, we're hardcore like that. Nothing screams maturity like yelling "I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick butt, and I'm all out of bubblegum" to a pumpkin. But we had a blast with the kids and ended up with some totally radical results...Take a peek for yourself...

{You guys are going DOWN! HA!}

{Don't let the smile fool you...she was a beast!}

{A little father-son bonding...over knives and destruction}

{Even the dogs wanted in on the action...}

{The only thing Boogie cared about was taking his glamour shots...}

{Yeah...soak it all in...awesomeness at its best}

peee eesss....thanks for all the sweet comments on my last post...you guys rock :)

I'm obsessed....

I'll admit, I obsess over little trivial things to the point where its all I can think about ALL DAY LONG. Wanna know what I've been obsessing about all day long?? What the heck we're going to carve our flippin pumpkins as! You remember those pumpkins, right? The ones we moved heaven and earth to pick out...the ones that took us not one, but TWO days of searching...the ones that had Mommy ready to start twitching while rocking back and forth in the corner singing Burt Bacharach to herself. I'm so glad we found the perfect pumpkins just we could gut and mutilate them...makes perfect sense. Moving on!! So I spent the evening searching for inspiration... searching for an image of THE ONE...

I present....

{the hamburglar's coming for this one!}

{who does this???}

{too much candy corn for this little fella}

{ :) }

{“Rule 17: Don’t turn your back on bears, men you have wronged or the dominant Turkey during mating season.”- Dwight}

Hmmm....so many options, so little time...To be honest I don't care what it looks like, as long as I can make a friggin pie out of it....

Pumpkin Patch....Round 2

Well, crap. It's Monday already. Just shoot me in the face now...I've lost my will to live...but I'd settle for a nap and a Red Bull. But on the bright side, we had an awesome trip to a REAL pumpkin patch this weekend...not one of those lame-patch of dirt-broken wagon-rotting pumpkins-dumps in the middle of the market parking lot...I'm STILL bitter... This place was LEGIT! We're talking legit, like a ref with a whistle. Straight official! Complete with train rides, apple cider, petting zoo, hay rides, tractors, caramel apples, corn maze, and fields upon fields upon FIELDS of gorgeous pumpkins. The children of the corn (hahaa, get it, corn?) had a blast and we even managed to come home with some pumpkins! VICTORY!! Feast your eyes folks...

{My little train conductor...whoo whoo!}

{Typical male...just wants to play with the machinery}

{Boogie taking his turn at the controls...}

{Watch out ladies...this one's a heart breaker!}
{That's a lot of bacon...oink oink}

{My 3 favorite boys...}

{My rootin' tootin' cowboys...}

{The ladies of the Cline Casa}

{Future heart throb of America...}
{Isn't she a pretty ghoul? haha, get it, ghoul...girl..}
{Boogie bonding with the goats...}
{Bet you didn't know I was the goat whisperer...yup}
{When goats attack!!}

{The Little Miss looking cute as always!}

{Our little pumpkin...}

{Mmm...break me off a piece of that scrumptious specimen...grrr}

But perhaps my favorite picture of the day....the moment that made the entire day worth the trip...was letting the kids wander in fields and fields of this....

Don't you just love moments like this?

BEST NEWS EVER!!

I have FABULOUS news! WHOOP WHOOP!!

But first, let's catch up... my long lost friends, how I've missed you!! So this weekend has been fan-friggin-tastic so far!! The kids are mostly better, minus a few snot rockets and hacking coughs here and there...we were finally able to make it out of the house. AMEN, because I was ready to lose my flippin' mind if I had to watch one more episode of Max & Ruby! {Sidenote: Don't those creepy rabbits have parents??? And why doesn't Max talk?! Wtf?}

Friday night we decided it would be fun to take the kids to the halloween store so we could pick out a costume for Little Miss Presley. Well, you would have thought that I had learned my lesson about trying to do fun things with the kids...obviously I hadn't, because I'm smart like that. Unless your idea of fun is scarring your child for life, then yes, I succeeded. They are officially scared of halloween...it may or may not have something to do with the fact that the store was decorated like this:
{creepiest baby crib EVER...they make chuckie look lovable}

Don't worry, we totally redeemed ourselves and made it up to the kids by taking them to a REAL pumpkin patch on Saturday and we even came home with PUMPKINS! 2nd times a charm! I'll fill you all in on that on Monday...good times were had! And if Saturday wasn't great enough, we were able to sneak in a date night! MEOW....Jordan, you're naughty...ha!

But now for my good news! This is life changing you guys...Hallmark channel is showing Murder, She Wrote again! BOOYA!! I'm so glad it's not canceled anymore because Jessica Fletcher is my homie! Seriously, she's hardcore, and that show is my all time favorite.. What's not to love?! It's the perfect combination of danger, mystery, and romance. That JB Fletcher was a little p.i.m.p...her milkshake brought the boys to the yard....she spit some fierce game! And she laughs in the face of danger! Bwahahahaa! Plus I'm convinced Cabot Cove is the most dangerous place to live...and she owns that town! We'd so be BFF's...I just know it.

{I've got my eye on you...}

I'm seriously so excited I could piddle!! See, isn't that the best news ever?! The only thing that would have made it better was if The Hoff sang me this wonderful news by way of a singing telegram...now that would have been awesome! Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend, can't wait to catch up with you all! Pardon my randomness tonight, I'm exhausted!! So I leave you with The Hoff...ain't he a dreamboat?

{you look tight, in your tight pants...grrr}

Why do I even bother?

Sometimes I don't know why I even bother trying. Last night I had one of my brilliant mom moments where I had this grand idea that we should take the kids to go do something fun....apparently I had hit the crack pipe a little hard last night. I may or may not have been feeling slightly guilty from ignoring them all day Sunday so I could watch football, but that's neither here nor there....back to the point, I decided we should take the kids to go get pumpkins. That's wholesome family fun, right? WRONG!

I should have known it was gonna be one of THOSE trips when I had to throw out the disclaimer in the car..."Alright guys, we are going out together. You WILL listen, you WILL behave, and we WILL have fun. Do you understand? Now SIT DOWN and knock it off! Got it?!" That's always a pleasant way to start the outing!

So we drive out to this little pumpkin patch we had found online, and find out its not so much a patch as it is a dirt friggin lot with a couple of scattered pathetic looking pumpkins and a lonely, rusted red wagon in the corner. We couldn't take the kids here!!! Because that's every child's idea of fun, right? Being pulled around a field of dirt (did I mention it was in the middle of a market center?) in a broken down piece of crap wagon. Where's the petting zoo? The caramel apples?? The apple cider??? False advertisement at its finest. Stupid internet. My temples began to throb....

So we break their little hearts and turn the car around. And the screaming begins. All 3 of them bawling at once in perfect harmony. Mother of the year, right here.By this time it's getting late so we decide we'll take them out to eat! That's a treat right? And if we're lucky we can catch the score of the football game! So we get to the restaurant, unload them and walk in...its PACKED! The only thing available is a table...now I'm not sure if you've ever sat at a table (not a booth) in the middle of a restaurant with 3 kids 5 and under...its not pleasant. We couldn't eat here. So what do we do? Pack up the kids again! The screaming intensifies. Fits are being thrown. Chairs are being kicked. My head is pounding. What happened to our fun night??? We were SUPPOSED to be having FUN dangit!!

An hour and a half after leaving the house, we had had it. With our heads hung in defeat and our McDonald's in hand (yeah, we gave up), we headed towards home...where did we go wrong?

All I wanted was a friggin pumpkin, all I got was a raging migraine...so much for my bright idea.
