Hump day already?? That's what she said. No, seriously though...it's Wednesday already?! This week has just flown by so far. I've been a little MIA lately but I have a good excuse. House of Cline has been converted to a daycare and I've been watching some munchkins all week. So far no one has died, only minor bleeding has occurred, and I haven't resorted to drinking. All in all I'd say it's been a raging success! We've been watching the Jersey Shore uncensored dvd all week and they love it! I never knew toddlers were so good at fist pumping or dancing to house music. But in the 5 minutes it's taken me to write this they've destroyed my living room and are holding the dogs hostage in the bathroom so I better wrap this up. That's what she said. I miss you all! But have no fear...I'll be back.
One last item of business before I take off.....

Berkeley's Big Day!!!
My uterus is screaming just a bit today and I'm thinking that it has something to do with this little bundle of goodness.....
That little beauty is the baby girl of my amazing friend Courtney. She's one of those stubborn, CRAZY, people that didn't find out the babies sex during her pregnancy and had us all waiting in suspense!! Love you Courtney! But on Saturday we had the chance to welcome this girl into the world right by throwing her an after-baby shower. So Eliza, Lindsey and I got our Martha Stewart on, busted out the glitter, and got to work!....And if I may toot our horns...it turned out fabulously! Don't ask how, but I forgot to take pictures of the food. Probably because I was too busy eating it....nom nom nom...

{Eliza was MIA for a week, elbow deep in hot glue creating this masterpiece!
The picture doesn't do it justice....seriously awesome!!}

Snap crackle pop fool!
Did you eat a bowl of Lucky Charms for breakfast??
Because you're looking magically delicious!! bow chicka bow wow!
Mmm sweet goodness...sigh...I wish I ate a bowl of Lucky Charms for breakfast, in all of its gluten-y, sugary, marshmallow-y glory! (insert pig squeals here) Too bad I was stuck with gluten free Chex. Wah-wah-wahhhh. Don't get me wrong, a little Chex with some vanilla soy milk isn't all that bad, but I miss the good old days. When nutritional facts were balked at, my bowels worked right, and the only thing that mattered was the toy in the box! I miss eating REAL cereals, like these....
It was a TREAT folks. A TREAT for breakfast!! It was a snap crackle pop of heaven in your mouth! that's what she said... Moving on...
Do you remember these?? They were friggin AMAZING! You wish it, I dish it! Holy crap that stuff was grub...But so were these..
Berry Berry Kix was the shiznit. Kid tested, mother approved!! Freak yeah I approve these. I'd approve a big bowl of them right now! Or a big bowl of these...
Ok, so I really only liked these because I was in LOVE with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but still...it had marshmallows. I'm sold. I was also totally in love with these...
Once again...TREAT for breakfast! None of this granola, whole grain crap...OREOS as a MEAL! I used to start my day with a bowl full of COOKIES! No wonder I was such a happy child! Now I have to eat fiber enriched gluten free cardboard crap. Stupid allergies. Stupid bowels with their anxiety poo. Stupid gluten and my stupid rash. I'd risk it all for a trough full of Oreo O's right now! What about you? What was your favorite cereal growing up?

A little Summer in winter..
With all this rain and gloomy weather over here I decided we needed a little pick me up! So I called in the big guns....Ms Summer herself to come spread a little sunshine up on over here! I'm so excited to share this amazing girl with you because not only is she a good bloggy friend....she's one of my IRL friends too! Mmmmmhmmmm. Jealous?! Don't be! Because here she is taking the reins for the day and spreading love Summer style...
Hey cheesy lovers!!!
First of all, I'm Summer from Le Musings of Moi,
and I am MORE than honored,
in fact,
I am downright giddy that my sweet Alicia offered me the gift of guest posting on her blog.
{longest sentence ever, I know.}
I mean, do you guys even know what the means for her and me?
It means our love has been taken to the next level.
And that dear cheesy folks, is kind of a big deal.
Anyway,
here I am,
and there you are....
so allow me to teach you a thing or two...
about how thinking is not always such a good thing.
Taylor's (my son) favorite phrase to say to me, is:
"And then what did you think?"
Well that, and the phrase:
"No Mom, I don't want to do that right now.
Here's the plan, I'll do what I want to do first and then I'll do what you want me to do.
Okay Mom?"
Which brings me to my first point.
I used to think I was patient until I had kids.
But now...
Well, I find it's my struggle every single day.
I have to BREATHE.
Sometimes very deeply.
Okay, not sometimes....often.
I don't know what it is about kids that makes it so hard to be patient.
I mean, I've had boyfriends who required more patience than my own kids do.
And yet...
Daily, Hourly...Minute by Minute,
I have to breathe.
I used to think I would never make the same mistakes that my parents made.
And yet, as I grow up, I realize I'm just as human as they are.
And mistakes have and have yet to be made.
I used to think that I understood God.
But, with seeing life happen all around me, I realize I don't understand His ways at all.
I will never understand Him.
But, I understand my own ways even less, and I actually am me.
(Woah, that's deep.)
So, rather than try to figure it all out, I will simply trust Him instead.
I used to think I wasn't worthy of being forgiven.
Too many times mistakes were held over my head by others, but most often by myself.
Now, in learning to forgive the people I love and seeing forgiveness being given to others,
I realize that I am just as worthy as they are.
I used to think I didn't want a boy, until I had Taylor.
And then even though he has kept me humble, I started to think I only wanted boys and quickly decided I didn't want a girl.
But, then I had Chloe, and now I'm happy I have one of each.
I used to think I would never be close with my sisters.
But now, they are some of my closest friends, and I depend on their love and friendship more than anything.
I used to think I liked jeans, but now I adore elastic....or better yet, drawstring.
I used to have time to think...
ahhhh, those were the days.
I used to think,
but all this goes to show that I really don't know much about anything,
even after all that thinking.
Hmm, there is surely a lesson to be learned and passed on here,
but I just don't want to think anymore.
A big thanks to my girl Summer for spending some time with us today! Now go on and have yourself a wonderful Wednesday!

A little of this, a little of that....
I'm all over the map today people. We had a ROUGH night last night since Little Miss Presley decided she was going to scream bloody murder all. night. long. She finally quieted down about 6am....when the boys woke up for the day. Yeeeahhhh. Shoot me in the face. It's been a long morning. I'm contemplating an IV drip full of Red Bull...just straight line that crap right into my blood. I'm not a junkie, I swear. If I start injecting it inbetween my toes or smoking red bull from a pipe...ok then it's time to get worried.
But after a quick trip to the doctor, it turns out that the little miss has an ear infection. Well that explains the blood curling screams! So we've got some meds in her system and my fingers are crossed that my wee one is better soon.
While we were waiting, and by waiting I mean my kids were SCREAMING while I tried really hard not to smack them, in the pharmacy my eyes landed on a package of this little gem and I couldn't help but laugh...SNL anybody?
{When you've got something fungal, deep down in your lady jungle...}
Well at least I thought so. But then again I think little kids tripping and old people farting in church is funny...sooo....yeah. Anyway...I'm taking the day off to spend with my doped up offspring.
Have a happy Monday folks. And remember, "From Bo Derek so Susan Lucci. It's the stuff the stars use to clean their coochies!" GYNELOTRIMIN! Hahahaa!!!!

{When you've got something fungal, deep down in your lady jungle...}I think I scared a couple people as I stood there laughing hysterically, while holding a screaming baby in one hand and some vaginal cream in the other. Obviously they hadn't seen the skit!! I mean with lines like "There's nothing fine-a, than a yeast free vagina!" it was friggin hilarious!
