Never Again....

A week away from my computer, my home, and WITH my kids.....never again. Worst idea ever. The drive down wasn't so bad thanks to mommy's famous traveling cocktail (benadryl, dramamine, dimetapp, mixed with a little nyquil and a splash of apple juice.....yum). It works wonders....But by the way home, there wasn't enough horse tranquilizer in the state to muzzle these kids! Let me just tell you that when I dropped off Mason at school this morning I didn't even stop the car. I came to a slow roll, opened the door, and told the kid to 'Tuck and Roll!!' ...I've never been more thankful for public school in my life. And since I had to devote every last minute of the vacation to being a mom I totally sucked at taking pics! Here are the randoms I managed to snap:

{The Little Miss' first trip to Chuck E Cheese...ghetto fabulous}

{Little Miss Presley and her Papa Bear}

{Boogie was lovin' the helicopter....17 tokens later}

{We came across this rad ride at the local Wal-Mart...comes complete with cooler and dog... but you can't see the dog in the window...because its camouflaged...HA!}

{My brother, J playing with the kids while his dog, Chubs, tries to eat his face}

{Crackhead #1 trying to scale the fence}

{My brother, Nate, showing us his neat party tricks. I present the 'toothpick in the nostril'... we keep it classy over here}

{Hanging out at the Sushi joint....apparently Jake wanted to be in the picture really bad}

{Miho, our favorite Sushi master by day, and ninja assassin by night...love this dude}

All in all it was a blast! We had some quality time with the family and I learned that I need to invest in a laptop. So glad to be home! Can't wait to go catch up and see how the rest of you are. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday! Now promise me that we'll never leave each other again. One week is far too long. Plus, I'm gonna need some MAJOR moral support this week (and maybe some chocolate and red bull).....BECAUSE oh...it pains me to say this....

MY BABY TURNS ONE ON WEDNESDAY!!!!

Hand over the tissue and forget the mascara...it's gonna be a tough week...

  10. You need an iphone. The best thing that ever happened to me. :)

    Sounds like a good time...minus the driving, and cranky kids, and no Internet....hmmm...I'll change my statement to "Sushi sounds good!"

  11. The requirement of sushi might be enough to make me live on the coast somewhere.

    I mean, we got sushi in Indiana, but something tells me (and mind you, this is just a guess) that it's better when it's FRESH.

    Don't. Ever. Leave. Me. Again.

  12. The Little Miss is already turning one?!?!
    And I think our families would get along just fine... in additional to loving farts and penis-inspired centerpieces, my dad also enjoys stuffing straws up his nose, and then asking us who invited the walrus to dinner?
    And the picture of Chubs eating your brother's face... bwhahahahaha... I am laughing my hinder off!

  30. Hmmmm, did we have the same trip? Ah ha ha. Because of the lovely holiday traffic, what should have taken us 8 hrs on Sunday took us 14. 14 hrs in a car does not a happy toddler make. EEEK. Happy early bday P!!!

  36. Oh. So you were on a vacay?! That explains it 'cause I was seriously all WTH?, why hasn't that biotch Alicia come by my blog in like FOREVER?! So, I came a huntin' & discovered that you were out partyin' it up. I thought we agreed that you wouldn't do too much of that w/o me?! It's cool. I can see how one would get sidetracked by a ninja. But, now that you're back I'm fully expecting you to get it in gear Missy and head on over to my speezot. But, don't forget to bring the fugliest Xmas photo of you/your kids/your family/your neighbor/random stranger with you so that you can enter to win my contest. It's pretty dope, so don't miss is!

    Glad you had a good time. Sorry the kids were, um...difficult. I friggin LOVE school!
