BEST NEWS EVER!!

I have FABULOUS news! WHOOP WHOOP!!

But first, let's catch up... my long lost friends, how I've missed you!! So this weekend has been fan-friggin-tastic so far!! The kids are mostly better, minus a few snot rockets and hacking coughs here and there...we were finally able to make it out of the house. AMEN, because I was ready to lose my flippin' mind if I had to watch one more episode of Max & Ruby! {Sidenote: Don't those creepy rabbits have parents??? And why doesn't Max talk?! Wtf?}

Friday night we decided it would be fun to take the kids to the halloween store so we could pick out a costume for Little Miss Presley. Well, you would have thought that I had learned my lesson about trying to do fun things with the kids...obviously I hadn't, because I'm smart like that. Unless your idea of fun is scarring your child for life, then yes, I succeeded. They are officially scared of halloween...it may or may not have something to do with the fact that the store was decorated like this:
{creepiest baby crib EVER...they make chuckie look lovable}

Don't worry, we totally redeemed ourselves and made it up to the kids by taking them to a REAL pumpkin patch on Saturday and we even came home with PUMPKINS! 2nd times a charm! I'll fill you all in on that on Monday...good times were had! And if Saturday wasn't great enough, we were able to sneak in a date night! MEOW....Jordan, you're naughty...ha!

But now for my good news! This is life changing you guys...Hallmark channel is showing Murder, She Wrote again! BOOYA!! I'm so glad it's not canceled anymore because Jessica Fletcher is my homie! Seriously, she's hardcore, and that show is my all time favorite.. What's not to love?! It's the perfect combination of danger, mystery, and romance. That JB Fletcher was a little p.i.m.p...her milkshake brought the boys to the yard....she spit some fierce game! And she laughs in the face of danger! Bwahahahaa! Plus I'm convinced Cabot Cove is the most dangerous place to live...and she owns that town! We'd so be BFF's...I just know it.

{I've got my eye on you...}

I'm seriously so excited I could piddle!! See, isn't that the best news ever?! The only thing that would have made it better was if The Hoff sang me this wonderful news by way of a singing telegram...now that would have been awesome! Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend, can't wait to catch up with you all! Pardon my randomness tonight, I'm exhausted!! So I leave you with The Hoff...ain't he a dreamboat?

{you look tight, in your tight pants...grrr}

  3. I remember watching it sometimes...not as excited as you, I don't have the Hallmark channel :( I would be excited if somehow I got to re-watch Three's Company or Felicity! Oh, and if they brought back Lipstick Jungle or Men In Trees!

  9. My mother n law watches Murder She wrote - religiously. She has them all on the whole VHS tapes. She taped every singe episode. I think there must of been 40 or more VHS tapes stacked in her family room. My hubby could not stand it and go the entire series on DVD for her. YES!!! She won;t dare throw the tapes away!!! Just encase!!! Just encase what??????

  10. YOu know that our man, The Hoff, is in rehab again. I have cried myself to sleep every night.

  11. So murder she wrote and the Hoff huh? My thing is the Golden Girls so I can't judge.
    Talk about the most underrated show ever. Those four oldies are soooo much funnier than anything on tv, and edgy! Even for todays standard. I mean it was what the 80's? and rose was getting hit on by an old lesbian? good stuff.

  12. My daughter is afraid of Halloween too...my 7 year old daughter. Uh huh seriously. She likes the dressing up part but stays away from anyone in super scary costumes and the other day at the grocery store she screamed when my husband put the treat bowl with the moving hand in it in her face...good times

  13. Murder She Wrote is my mother's favorite show of all time (that and Star Trek the Next Generation). We have bought her the MSW DVDs for Christmas and birthdays. She was disappointed when she couldn't find re-runs anymore. I will have to let her know about this. She will be thrilled like you. She has seen every episode several times, she always knows who the killer is, and yet she watches anyway. I wish I shared your enthusiasm about it. I'll have to wait until I can see re-runs of Knight Rider.

  27. Hello! I found your blog through LeMusings of Moi...so glad I did! And I had to comment because I wrote a post a while back about how annoying Max and Ruby are. Glad your household is better!

  29. Oh you know I've been hitting that up already! Watching Miss Jessica solve crime while sipping my coffee has become an almost daily occurrence for me. It just so happens to coincide with nap time. Ah ha

  30. my mom used to watch that show after lunch with a coffee! haven't watched it for AGES!
    and i love the hoff. not as much as Chuck though...

    ReplyDelete
  31. That IS good news! I love me some Jessica Fletcher. I have come to the conclusion though, that that small town would be the absolute worse place to live in, or perhaps Jessica Fletcher is actually the one committing the crimes!!

  32. LOL

    OH cheesy...your name fits you too well. I'm too old for 'Murder She Wrote' and I could be your very young mother. :)

  33. Girl, I was with you all the way to the Hoff. We need to discuss therapy....

    I've never seen Murder She Wrote, but on your high recommendation, I may just check it out... Although you really like the Hoff??

  37. Did you know that Mr. Hasselhoff's lovely LA house is up for sale? http://sweeterhomes.blogspot.com/2009/10/celebrity-homes-for-sale-david.html
    Do you think they let potential buyers take pics of themselves lounging on The Hoff's bed?

  38. I am new to your blog. I really liked it but when I saw this post about J.B. Fletcher, I thought this girl is friggin awesome. I'm not the only person in the world (under 50) that loves MSW. I kind of feel normal now. Just kinda. Did you know that Murder She Wrote was going strong until Friends debuted? It was canceled not long after. So sad.
