This month is about building friendships and making our existing friendships stronger...

We challenge you to dig into your "followers" list and find a follower you don't know well (someone who doesn't comment regularly) and reach out to them and ask them to do a guest post on YOUR blog.

Or you can always ask some of your favorite ladies! That's what I did!

I LOVE my bestie. I seriously don't know what I'd do without her. We've been BFF's since we were 12! Yup, that's 15 years of good times. We've done every thing together. We've bonded over a deep love of *N Sync, we've healed broken hearts together, we've raised our kids together. She really has been there for me through thick and thin and I couldn't imagine not having my go-to girl by my side! I mean, who else would eat those dirty nachos from 7-11 with me??

Isn't that quote the truth?? One of the things I love most about my friends is that they know me for who I truly am and they still love and support me. Even with all of my imperfections, they accept me. And throughout the inevitable ups and downs that life throws our way, it is always easier to endure with a good friend by our side.

Whether its calling to share my latest shopping treasure with them, or because I need a shoulder to cry on, I know they're there. Only my girlfriends can have full conversations with me without every saying a word!! Girlfriends just GET each other! I've been so fortunate in life to have an awesome group of friends, and I'm excited to celebrate that!

In 1999, Kappa Delta Sorority created National Women's Friendship Day, and in 2009 the celebration was expanded to the entire month of September. In 2010, it is expanding to International Women's Friendship Month, the celebration offers all women the opportunity to honor their special friends. (source http://nwfd.kappadelta.org)

So this month I'm excited to be a part of an amazing group of women that is celebrating Friends You Love for the entire month of September. All month long, we will be celebrating and hosting events, contests, reviews, giveaways, and twitter parties all in the name of friendship!! It's going to be a BLAST!! I hope you guys will join in on the friend, maybe snag some prizes and a new friend or two!!

Hey Life.....SUCK IT!

I'm not gonna lie, it's been a rough week. I feel like I've had my emotions handed to me on a platter....after someone river danced on them. But after the help of a few Snickers, some ice cream, and an ice cold Red Bull amazing friends and family, we've survived. We've brushed the dust off and are back on our feet.

Parenthood is one of the most challenging positions I've ever held in my life. Today is a true testament of that. But it is by far, also one of the most rewarding. I'd get knocked down 100 times if it meant seeing 1 smile on their tiny faces. And today I fully realized that no matter what the obstacle is, it's going to be OK. We will overcome it and survive. Scratch that, we won't survive, we'll thrive. Because we're fighters and that's how we roll.

We have 3 healthy, happy, and loving children. I'm so grateful for that. And those 3 children have loving parents who will fight tooth and nail to get them everything they need and deserve in life. As well as 1 Mama Bear who will beat the crap out of anyone who gets in her way. Just sayin'. Don't mess with my babies.

While this week royally sucked monkey butt, it a been a solid learning experience for me. My family is resilient. As parents we are strong. My husband is my rock. And as a mother, I'm doing a dang good job. So while this week has kicked my trash, its DONE. It's over. Life tested us and we passed. I don't know what will happen in the future, but I do know that we will make it through.

Today is a new day. I've put my fears and worries to rest. It's all about moving forward and focusing on the beautiful things this life has to offer. It's time to take charge of the day. And it's time to stop stressing and to stop and smell the flowers.....

{...even if they do smell like bacon...}
