Snot faced cutie...

The three day weekend was AMAZING! We made bank at a garage sale, had a friggin delicious BBQ, and had an absolute BLAST with friends. But now it's back to reality...you know, sick kids, constipation, and laundry. This week is going to be insane to say the least. My baby brother is graduating *tear* and ALL of the family is going to be in town. I don't know whether to be excited or scared. It's going to be crazy around these parts for sure...

And of course, the Little Miss woke up with a fever this morning, so we decided to take it easy and hang out at home in our jammies so we can down some Pedialyte popsicles and Tylenol....we're straight hardcore over here. But I have to say, even when she's feverish and under the weather, she's still dang cute...

{I met this little girlie...her hair was kinda curly..}

{Roll to the rock, rock to the roll...}

{Peekaboo!}

{All doped up on Pedialyte...}

{Move out Suri...there's a new mini-fashionista in town!}

Have a great day amigos!

It's nap time around these parts and I've got a snot-faced/cowgirl/fairy princess/rapper/ to snuggle with...

To my beloved offspring...

Dear Children of the Corn Cline household,

I would appreciate it if you would stop plotting against me and start working WITH me! I don't think if was really necessary for the 3 of you to get sick at the same time...it was kind of overkill really. But if you insist on being sick then at least have a little courtesy. If you guys sneeze in my face, cough on my food, or wipe your snot on my shirt one more time I'm gonna drop kick you like a football, got it? And Mason, don't think that because you get to stay home from school that I'm gonna baby you and snuggle with you on the couch, because that's totally what I'm going to do I have things to do...important things, like blogging laundry. Yeah. Priorities people.

And I am so not down with you guys waking up at 15 minute intervals ALL NIGHT LONG. Seriously, so not cool. You know how to pour milk, is it really necessary to wake me up to do it? And Mason, you're 5 years old...you should be able to feed your sister a bottle by now. Honestly, I didn't raise a bunch of bums. So if you don't want Mommy to spike your milk with benadryl be grumpy in the morning then GO TO FRIGGIN SLEEP and swallow your spit instead, milk is overrated! Or better yet...wake up Daddy.

Since I have your attention, lets talk about the legos. It was a tad bit alarming when I was changing Presley's diaper and saw a yellow lego head smiling back up at me through the doo doo butter. So if you could stop leaving pieces ALL over the flippin house for your sister to eat and smuggle into her diaper I would really appreciate it! And Presley, I FEED you for a reason child! Lay off the legos!

And Boogie, don't think that you got off the hook mister. I just want you to know that I'm boycotting Thomas the Engine. D-O-N-E. DONE!! If I have to be subjected to one more Thomas dvd I think I'm going to lose it. Screw Sir Topham Hat. Forget Percy and Gordon. I'M DONE! Can't you watch something different...like Real Housewives of Atlanta or Talk Soup?? Something wholesome that we can all watch together? Just think about it.

One last thing before I go...it's been a looooong time since I've been able to poop in peace. Does there really need to be a pow wow in the loo every time Mommy has to do some dirty work? All I need is 5 minutes. I'd even settle for 3.

Love,
Mom

peee ess--- life's been a little crazy, sick kids and no sleep...but i'm trying to keep up on your blogs! so if i haven't stopped by in a few days don't worry, i will! thanks to all those who left awards and kind thoughts...i'm gonna go grab a power nap before the little mongrels wake up.

Weekend wrap-up a la PMS style...

Another weekend has come and gone in the House of Cline, and nothing terribly exciting to report. It was pretty low key. We spend our weekend tending to some sick babies (no fun), kicking soccer hiney...

{Mason's team won, whoop whoop!!! You go baby!}

....and watching a whoooooole lotta football! GLORIOUS! Plus football goes hand in hand with food, so needless to say, the bean dip was flowin' like manna from heaven...mmmm

{check out my moves....gotta protect my bananas!)

What could be better than good food, good company, and good games??? I'll tell you what, the Colts trashing some Seahawk boo-tay! Suck it Seattle!!

{Touchdown chest bump! And yes, we wear matching Colts shirts, we are that couple}

And after a long weekend of nursing our lil'bits back to health and watching the 49ers waste the Rams(...anybody catch that game??) I needed to unwind a bit, ya know, pamper myself and whatnot. So I busted out the nail polish and set to work on my hooves, when all of a sudden this happens...

{Daddy can suck a mean foot...bwahahhaaa!}

Yeah, that's for real, just ask Liz!! My scrumptious piece of man meat came and starting blowing on my toes so the polish would dry, I didn't even ask!! Well trained...I mean AMAZING, isn't he. Serious moment: Jordan is such a giver. From day one he has always been the perfect example of selfless love. He's taught me what it means to truly give yourself to a relationship and to love with all of your might and all of your heart. This is why after only knowing him for 55 days I knew I could spend an eternity with him. I knew if he loved me even half as much as I loved him, there wouldn't be anything that we couldn't overcome. And so far, so good....this may seem trivial, but it's the little moments like this that show me I'm always on him mind...that my needs are important to him...and my happiness is happiness to him. It may seem like just a picture to anyone else, but to me, it captures the very essence of his giving heart...if we could all love without restraint, without fear of rejection, without putting our needs first, and without conditions, wouldn't it be amazing? It doesn't matter if you know someone for 1 day, 55 days, or 3 years...it's the quality of love, not the quantity of time...

Whoa...ok, sorry to dump that on you. Holy PMS batman! I get emotional and love sick...its a bad combo!! So yeah, that's what we did this weekend...haha!

And last but not least!! The winner winner chicken dinner! Congrats to Court and Tim....the proud new owners of the mustachio cork and charm set!!

And thank you so much to the amazing Atlanta for hooking us up with a little summin summin from her fabulous etsy shop, the Cupcake Concubine. If you haven't checked it out, GO DO IT! It's beyond cute!! Have an awesome Monday folks....only 4 more days til Friday...shoot me in the face.

Meet Megan...

Forgive me if I'm rambling incoherently...my kids are sick and waking up at 10 minute intervals...so needless to say I'm friggin tired. But on the bright side, Jordan is tucked away drifting off somewhere in never never land snoring like a frackin banshee. Isn't that great? Yeeaaahh. Remind me to tie all of his shoe laces together tomorrow. Jerk.

But since I'm awake I'm going to take advantage and introduce you to someone near and dear to my heart...and kitchen pantry. I've been fortunate to have found some really awesome friends in life. And while I have a select few I call my besties, I have to introduce you to the original bestie. She's the OG of my bestie world....the Romy to my Michelle...she's Megan....

{That's my boo! Ain't she puuurty?}

It all began when I was 12 (holy days ago batman) and this little hooligan from across the street would come over and try to barter her Hansen's soda in exchange for a Pepsi, I was happy to oblige. She had an uncanny way of showing up every time the Schwann's man was there delivering ice cream. So, I took it upon myself to show this girl the finer things in life...and the pantry. Our love for food developed into an amazing friendship that I've treasured for the last 14 years.

From sleep overs to motherhood, we've been through it all together. Countless inside jokes (you ate yours, these are mine!!), countless heartaches, countless laughs. We've swooned over *N Sync together and held eachothers new born babies....The ups and downs, good times and bad, I know she'll always be there for me...with a carton of nacho's in one hand and a fountain soda in the other. That's my girl!!!

So now that you guys have met, go on over and say hi...I finally got her to start a blog. GLORIOUS!!! Just be nice...or I may have to kick some butt!

**this post was part of mama kat's workshop**

peeeee es- i did a little guest post...head on over if you get bored..and don't forget to enter the giveaway!!!

No ice cream at this party!

I've been having "issues" for a while now. It's gotten worse after each pregnancy, so finally today I went to the Doctor to find out what the heck what going on. We'll call him Dr. X, in lieu of doctor/patient confidentiality. So I go to Dr. X's office and he asks me what brought me in...here goes!

I proceed to tell him that I think I have food allergies because my stomach CAN NOT handle food anymore. I eat, I get stomach cramps, I get mudbutt. Yeah, I'm getting personal, whatever, we're all friends, right? I tell him how badly I get gas...don't worry, I smell like roses on a spring day, and I tell him how my abdomen swells so badly I look friggin pregnant! Which is NOT the look I'm going for! But the worst part is the pain. I mean, lying on the floor in the fetal position, eyes watering, punched in the gut pain. So after a long visit, an hour of talking about "stool" (sick and wrong), and answering about 800 questions, you wanna know what this quack said?!?!

IBS....what, you didn't hear me? I said IBS....still can't hear me? IBS!! That stands for Irritable Bowel Syndrome...Sweet mother of Benjamin Franklin!!! That Doc has lost his mind! THEN...he proceeds to tell me that by looking at my food diary I'm also lactose intolerant and to stop eating dairy products. Um, ok, so after 25 years of existence my body just decides it doesn't like dairy?! Eh...I don't think he understands. Thursdays are Cookies and Cream frozen yogurt day at the Big Spoon. You want me to give that up?! No milkshakes, no ice cream, no yogurt, no cheese?!?!

I've lost my will to live...just shoot me in the face now and bury me with a hunk of Gouda tucked in my hands. What kind of life is a life with no cheese?! Sigh...

So Dr. X has ordered me to keep a food diary, which I've dubbed The Captain's Log (get it...log. poop. IBS.) I thought it was clever...so that way I can tell what foods my body is rejecting. And a new medication to take on top of that. BOO!

So I guess that Mexican food tonight isn't such a great idea, huh? I'm off to go throw a pity party for myself...and no, there won't be ice cream at my party....

Farewell, my sweet delicous friend...

Recipe for mudbutt...

I'm going to try to write this without dry heaving. But first I'd like to preface this story with a statement: My dog wouldn't even eat the featured food item, and he's been known to eat HiS oWn PoOp!

It was a night like any other at the Cline home. The kids were plotting my downfall, friends were gathered over a gourmet dinner of fish stick sandwiches (vomit), and on the counter sat a lonely bowl of tartar sauce. With all the fish sticks having been consumed what were to do with our abundance of tartar sauce??? Make Dizzle eat it, of course. But why stop there....why not add some peanut butter? In fact, it would make a great sandwich. You know what would go great with that? Some jufran banana sauce (first of all, who owns that?!) And what's a tartar, peanut butter, and jufran sandwich without some tapatio? So here we were with this vile creation and a subject who was willing to eat it....and he did...the entire thing, without puking. Can I just tell you that it looked like the matter I see in my daughter's diaper every day? Rolf...flippin sick. But this ladies and gentleman is why we love Dizzle. And yes, I know what you're wondering, he is available...in fact applications to date him are available upon request. Along with his diverse culinary interests, Dizzle enjoys long walks in Sportsman's warehouse, reading Guns n' Ammo, and snuggling on the couch to a romantic episode of Family Guy...please send a recent photo (holding today's newspaper) along with your contact info if interested for more details.
